I hit a possum at night and broke the piece under the front of the car. I didn't realize the damage until I began driving the next day as I could hear that something was wrong. Continuing to drive it in that condition would definitely have caused further damage because it could have broken and damaged something else under the car. Surprised the tech sent me a video of the underside of my 330i during servicing. Showed tire depth. Would've been nice to see the underside of the engine when the aerodynamic cover off during oil change. The car wash was an added plus.
