My sister just had a baby there last night and she is the last patient to have had a baby being born there before the hospital closed down and she walked out into the hallway and heard all the nurses in the OB wing talking shit about her after making her go through her birth with no epidural no pain meds nothing and talking to her like she’s garbage the whole time

Worst 3 days of my life. Went into the ER with abdominal pain, bloating and cramps. Nurses ask the usual questions about drugs, smoking, vaping or alcohol. As soon as I confess to drinking the get tunnel vision and judge me an alcoholic suffering from withdrawal. Ct scans showed inflammation but they ignored that, my bloating and abdominal pain clearly weren't the problem. I got admitted to Newark Wayne Hospital, for iv meds until I could get a PIcC line. The whole place is like an igloo! It’s so cold I spent my time in bed under the covers! My grilled cheese I got was terrible, but the shredded bbq pork was amazing! All of the nurses, doctors, NPs, PIcC line team, aides…everybody was great! Dr Nagpaul worked tirelessly to get everything in order for me to get my PIcC line and be able to leave in enough time to get ready for my vacations! True hero in my book!

Nurse Dana in the ED is truly a wonderful nurse! Dana has a great bedside manner. She can put anyone at ease during the hard times that bring someone into the emergency room. Well done Dana! Thank you. My Step Father and I think the world of you.
