I called to ask a simple question and the lady that answered the phone sounded like a mother about to scold me because I told her I checked online and the site advised the waiting list was open. Didn’t bother to explain how it when I could get on the waiting list without an attitude. I’ve worked all my life since the age of 15 and I’m now 45 facing hardship. Please stop treating people like we’re low lives trying to take advantage of the system. Housing needs to be reformed in this country.

This office is very deceptive and lacks the integrity to do their job for the public correctly. They run by a different set of rules and change them daily. They will hang up on you and kick tenants without any proof or notice to the landlords or tenants. When you ask about this they slam the door in your face. The residents who need this program deserve better.
I couldn’t even make two steps out of my car before a guy started being rude asking why I’m here and saying it’s nothing he can do because the list is closed since 2017. I couldn’t even get a word out after that just a good luck finding something and him saying wilmington is closed too.
