Don't Do It Don't bring your car there It is a waste of time and money Newark Car Care Center is horrible
I brought my car to Newark car car to change my head gasket. They change the head gasket but when I came to pick my car up, the engine was knocking. Knocked so bad that the car cut off on me. They claim they didn’t touch then bottom end of the engine but they obviously damaged it because my engine wasn’t knocking when I brought my car in. I basically paid $950 for them to ruin my car! Now I need a new car. They talk a good game but their work is horrible.
This place is good for simple things like oil changes and getting tires rotated. If you have a foreign car, or a problem with your car that is difficult to figure out, however, you will have better luck elsewhere. The people here are not intentionally trying to screw you out of money, but the mechanics do not have the experience necessary to take on difficult jobs. I WOULD LIKE TO THANK NEWARK CAR CARE AND COMMEND THEM FOR THEIR PROFESSIONAL AND QUICK SERVICE. MY VEHICLE WAS STUCK AT NEWARK AIRPORT AND AAA TOWED ME TO NEWARK CAR CARE. NOT ONLY DID THEY FIND OUT WHAT WAS WRONG WITH MY CAR BUT THEY FIXED IT THE SAME DAY WITH TIME TO SPARE.
