It wasn’t that bad, the food was pretty decent, the nurses were really nice and they care about you, we could watch netflix, we could watch movies that didn't have things like blood and stuff like that (obviously because it's a psychward and they're not going to show you blood or death or inappropriate things especially since we were all kids and teenagers) but yeah it was pretty decent honestly. They used to give us chips and juice like a snack and every morning we had to fill out a menu for the food we wanted to eat
Ms. Allen is the best. She is patient and is genuinely concerned about her clients. She is doing a great job with my great niece.
Psych ward for children was pretty awful the staff is scary and get angry easily. There was one good staff member there. One staff member got angry at me because she misunderstood my English and made me cry so hard I got sick. Another told me "how dare I" complain about my very abusive parents. The same staff member also talk about punishing her son and if I am remembering correctly she used corporal punishment tho I'm not sure exactly.
