Can’t simply put air in tires…..
It was an absolute pleasure to work with Anthony and his team at NYTG and I would recommend this shop for any transmission needs that your car may have! My car was taking slightly longer than usual to switch into high gears, and after calling to make an appointment for a detailed evaluation, I was able to find that my car did not actually need any work done at the moment, which put my mind at ease. My dad’s car, 2010 Toyota Camry, had only 35K mi and the transmission failed. I’m not a fan of rebuilt transmissions but I decided to give this shop a chance. I live in Maryland, and had to deal with Anthony over the phone. Not only was it a pleasant experience, it was first class. Once the work was done I came to NY and picked up the car. I drove it 300 mi back to Maryland without any issues. I highly recommend this place.
First off I must preface with the fact that this is my first time writing Google review. I never felt inclined to do so - until today that is! I was referred to NYTG by a next door neighbor when I mentioned to him that my son's car was taking longer than usual to change gears. He told me to "Go see Anthony at NYTG". Just a great experience from start to finish. The owner was professional and accommodating from the first phone call and was upfront about costs and timeframe in repairs. They were punctual and communicative throughout. It’s hard to find a trustworthy transmission shop these days but I wont hesitate to go back to NYTG next time my car has an issue
