This club is dirty and has mold and you cant put lipstick on a pig. The management is a bunch of scammers that charge for services that you dont use and then threaten you with the unpaid balance. Run to another club and stay away
This club, in particular the one in Huntington Ny is the worst run facility I have ever seen. Tried to cancel for 3 weeks and no-one was ever around until they billed me for 2 more months. The new management in the past few years have run it into the ground. Place is a dog pit.
Before you start spending money on fresh paint-FIX THE SPIN BIKES! I just had to walk out of class because my bike was clicking and vibrating. There were 4 other broken bikes in the room that were unusable-so now i have no spin for today. It’s really gross that in this great town THIS is our local gym. We neeeed NEW bikes-not refurbished not duct taped back together-new bikes.
20 years ago, I loved NYSC. But in an era of modern, clean gyms popping up everywhere, NYSC still manages to preserve the gritty, dirty gym look and feel as it did back in the day when they were one of the only options around. My club (Hawthorne, NY) is where old exercise equipment goes to die. That's because so many units (especially treadmills) are broken...like upwards of 40% of treadmills are non-working at any one time...and it's been that way for the last month and half. Staff said in early December that they'd be getting new equipment by mid-December but now it's mid-January and I have yet to see a single new piece of equipment. Didn't use to be that way. RecommendedConvenient, low-cost, clean, well-equipped gym with friendly staff, not at all crowded. - Huntington, NY location primarily but enjoy other locations in the NYC area.

I cancelled my membership in person because the place was a dump. The club never cancelled my membership on their end. They charged me for a year and refused to reimburse me. The person I was in contact with gave me the runaround and told me there was nothing he could do. They pretty much just stole 300 dollars from me.
