This is not a review of Doctor's medical practice as we had to walk out during the day of the procedure. It is a review about her office and procedures. Wednesday - My mom is seen by the doctor who tells us she needs to get a laser procedure we get an appointment for next Wednesday for the procedure. I ask for some kind of summary/printout of what the diagnosis is and she tells me she doesn't have time for those kind of things and we can access everything online. Dr. Rubinstein is superb. She successfully treated my severe glaucoma, using a range of medications and surgical techniques to bring my widely fluctuating eye pressures under control. She has has deep expertise in glaucoma and worked tirelessly to make my treatment a success.

I had a generally fine visit—everything during the appointment itself was professional, and the doctor did what was expected. However, I was surprised and disappointed by the additional fees for prescriptions. On top of the exam co-pay, i was charged $150 for a contact lens prescription to be written out. I was also told that if my contact prescription changed from what i was previously prescribed, the fee can go up to $300. Excellent physician — knowledgeable, polite, not rushed. Outstanding office staff. Easily available appointments. My only qualms are with waiting times at the office. Hoping it was only a one off issue. Will come here again.
