I had a great experience working with the team at New York Land & Lakes. They were helpful and supportive throughout the entire buying process. I really appreciated the care they took in showing me the land and making sure I understood every part of the purchase. They’re clearly dedicated to perfecting the land and celebrating the rural lifestyle. Highly recommend for anyone looking to find their own piece of the countryside.
Bought a piece of property in a subdivision they did. Have had nothing but issues with it from an abstract they never did when they sold it, to deed/easement issues, and the worst being that they walked back on installing electric service along the road that they promised to the original owners. There's close to 50 other lot owners in Herkimer County without electric they promised to install in their subdivisions and now their properties are worthless without it.
Stay away from this company!!! You buy land from them and in the contract it says they will pay for the power to be run down the road to you but when it comes time to do it they say “oh well prices have really gone up a lot”. They are shady!!
Followed this company for a year before buying from them. My husband and I bought a land upstate. Couldn't be happier with our piece of land. I don't particularly love the deed restrictions but I appreciate some of them and I understand why they are there. The entire crew is very nice and helpful. Just be ready to have a 25% down payment.
