I highly recommend Dr Charlesat General Dentistry. I have an Autistic niece who was always put out to have dental work. Dr. Charles was very patient even played music. He talked to her the whole time reassuring her that she was doing a great job. He treated her like any other patient that was nervous. My new Dental group without question. Root canal was no problem and painless . cleaning was done and then they had me use paradontax toothpaste for two weeks. no more bleeding gums. This group of people care so much not only about good dental hygiene but they care about each individual patient as well. I have CSEA dental insurance and everything is covered including a new cap. I can’t say enough about this team! Dr. Charles is highly skilled, yet compassionate, caring, funny, and incredibly dedicated. His bedside manner and charm can put even the biggest scaredy-cat at ease. His staff are all equally amazing and friendly. I used to hate going to the dentist, now I actually look forward to my visits. Double Wisdom tooth extraction coming up in 28 days..can’t wait. 😉
In total, Dr. Charles removed 6 wisdom teeth from my 2 teenage sons. Truly... no swelling or any of the ugliness you hear about with extractions. A few Advil and a couple of days rest and they were as right as rain. They both said it was painless and “easy”. I know it was “easy” because every member of the practice was so personable, welcoming and patient in discussing the whys and hows of the procedures and the scheduling. Everyone was reassuring, kind, and completely professional. So glad we found this team!!
Dr. Charles was able to see me for an aching pain in my tooth that another dentist worked on previously. He discovered that there was a cavity under the existing filling. He discussed my options with me and I was able to make an informed decision on how I wanted him to proceed. He explained everything thoroughly while showing me my x-rays. He even informed me long term what I may be looking at with this tooth. Great dentist and staff ! Thanks for helping my pain go away!
Reading all of these reviews, I am trying to think of what hasn't been said yet about Dr. Charles and his entire team (Rebecca, Toni, Sue...I love you all...) because I have had the same amazing experience as the rest of you! I am no longer afraid to go to the dentist, I actually look forward to seeing these people, it's crazy! One of the best decisions of your life would be to start going to GDAI. I am so glad that I did. Dr. Charles is an amazing dentist and just a great human being!
I HIGHLY recommend GDAI of Canandaigua to anyone needing any teeth work done. Yesterday I had two of my wisdom teeth taken out by Dr. Charles and I could not have expected it to go any better than it did. I was so relaxed and pain-free and was able to listen to my own music during the procedure. It was so quick and Dr. Charles and his assistant were so nice, laid-back and genuinely caring.
