The best part of shopping in Williamsburg is having lunch at the NY Deli. Love their food.

From just ok in the past to absolutely horrible today. Over an hour waiting for a 16 in pepperoni pizza. The one cook admits they "accidentally' gave our order to someone else. Then we wait some more. After asking again about our order we were told "we "accidentally" skipped your ticket. Wife goes to owner to voice our complaint. He basically brushed off the complaint with "oh, I'm sorry" then offers " I'll give you a gift certificate". The gift certificate doesn't even cover the cost of the pizza we bought. My kids and I found it by chance and decided to stop. It was busy, but everyone was amazing and the food...absolutely delicious!. My kids are already plotting so we can go back to Williamsburg, just to eat there.
Even though it was busy, service was fast. I have this thing for good pastrami, and my sandwich didn’t disappoint. I had mine on rye with just mustard. It was delicious! My hubby had it as per the menu with lettuce, tomato, and Swiss cheese. It was so packed we were only able to eat half. They tasted just as good the next day. If I come to Williamsburg again I will be sure to revisit.
