I saw Dr. Tindel for surgery earlier in the year. Not only did he do a phenomenal job as a surgeon (the pain is gone, I have full use of my arm, and we are about 6 months post surgery), but he is that rare surgeon with great bedside manner who spent time with my family and me to explain everything. Without hesitation, I recommend him to others.

People always ask to place your pain on the "1-10" scale... i have been living with level 8 pain every day for years. I have been through pain killers, multiple rounds of PT and injections...nothing helped. As a last resort i began to investigate surgery which wound up being Spinal Fusion of L2-L4 using titanium hardware. Dr. Tindel did my surgery on January 14th and just 2 weeks later I feel 100% confident the my pain is gone. He is fantastic and his staff, especially Annie, were great!

Dr. Tindel is patient, kind, and knowledgeable. He gave me time to explain my symptoms, did not read my reports until he examined me so he could make his most objective diagnosis (very wise!), and is conservative about surgery. His office personnel were extremely helpful, even resolving an insurance issue on the fly as I waited in the office, so I could go immediately to an MRI facility. I highly recommend Dr. Tindel.

Dr. Tindel was very knowledgeable and his communication skills were clear and concise. He listened to me and did not rush my visit. Dr. Tindel answered all my question. His surgical team was excellent. The office staff is very competent. I highly recommend Dr Tindel because he is confident and caring. After my cervical surgery I was pain free.

the doctor refused to see me (although i had read his book) because my insurance is medicare. you can read his book, it's ok, but he uses it primarily as a marketing tool to make money, and his office management is extremely unprofessional.

Dr. Tindel is not only incredibly intelligent and talented, he's one of the kindest doctors I've ever encountered. How many doctors have you ever met who will sit with you for over an hour explaining your options? Dr. Tindel made me feel confident and relaxed about surgery and took such incredible care of me, from pre-surgery procedures to post-op care. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

My husband underwent several very serious spinal surgeries. Dr. Tindel saved his life THREE TIMES and brought him great relief! In addition to being an outstanding surgeon, Dr. Tindel is an extraordinarily caring and concerned person.

I went to Dr. Nat Tindel after seeing a few doctors for my herniated disc and sciatica nerve issue. The moment I met him I got such a positive vibe and the way he explained my issue, I felt better already. He is an excellent doctor and is one of the handful ones in NYC who will not suggest you for surgery right away without thorough investigation.

Dr.Tindel is a dedicated caring professional with hands of gold. He operated on my spine for the third time with great success. I was back to work in 8 days. Dr. Tindel surrounds himself with an excellent supporting staff that makes him shine even brighter.
