I would highly recommend. I have been a fan of this shop for a very long time. It has been part of our family celebration for several years already. I would highly recommend.
They are good at what they do. You need to visit this shop to find out how they are able to accommodate the needs of their clients. They are good at what they do.
Never shopping at NY Cake again Rude to mothers and small children. Had possibly the worst customer service experience I have had anywhere at this place. Old man, who I presume to be the owner, told me to pay and get out because no one wants to hear my kid. My child was not even screaming. Found his behavior staggering. Will never, ever spend a dollar in that store again.
Customers Srv is HORRIBLE! I've been going to NY Cake for about 6 mths and everytime I come here I get the worst customer srv. No one ever wants to help! I cringe coming into this place. Thank god i've figured out where everything is on my own because just to ask the simplest questions I get my eyes rolled at. customer service or what you need True this store has almost everything you need to complete and pastry or cake project, but is it worth the personal aggravation? I hate going into this store. I mean it is like pulling teeth. My Absolute Favorite Store in NYC!!! This is my Absolute favorite store in NYC! They are terrible!!! I am a professional chef and when I find myself in need of something last minute I have to go to this store and it always puts a pit in my stomach. They are so incredibly unhelpful. If you were to ask for a leaf cutter, they would sell you a set telling you it was all they have, then you walk out past exactly what you had asked for and then they refuse to give you a refund. Customer Service The older, dark haired lady that works the register is unhelpful. Each time I have asked her a question, she has to refer me to someone else. And then, the guy that sits behind the counter. When I asked a question, he was too lazy to get up to help. Bakers Dream I found this store by accident. My sister was in her "I'm taking a cake decoration class phase" and needed some peculiar sized cake pan that no one had. (sold out--very popular)
