Recommendedmy first appt was video chat and the Dr answered all my questions and concerns. He explained the different procedures so I could make the right decision for me. Then I was able to schedule almost all of my tests in 1 day. The office was very efficient and welcoming. I had 4 office visits that day plus 2 test (echocardiogram and endoscopy). There was very little waiting in between appts. I highly recommend this practice. It has been a very easy journey so far and looking forward to the rest of my weight loss journey.

I absolutely love NYBG I have not once in the 7 months I’ve been seeing them been disappointed with there service. They’re respectful, considerate, flexible and just real people. It’s a huge life decision to consider bariatric surgery and I feel lucky even blessed to have come across NYBG. I recommend them in every way. Dr. Sommer did my gastric sleeve on October 28th. What a great experience! My surgery was October 7, 2020. Everyone was wonderful and Dr Sekhar! I can’t say enough about him and his entire staff! I feel great, if it wasn’t for the incisions I wouldn’t even know I had surgery. 10 stars

so far only glitch has been a lab issue with BCBS coverage because the lab was out of network.
