Cheap knives, cheap steel, premium price. These knives cannot hold an edge. I've had $14 supermarket knives that have remained sharper than these. They do offer free sharpening, which is nice. However, it would be nicer if the people who perform the sharpening knew what they were doing. You do not seem to get what you pay for when you buy these, but you do get what you pay for when you receive the free sharpening. My knives are sharper when I hone them at home than after I receive them from being sharpened by the manufacture... read more
We've loved our wedding present knife for years and were crushed when the tip broke. New West honored the lifetime warranty and even redid the engraving on a replacement!!!! We were a little worried when they called to mention that the font and blade material would be slightly different but we love it even more. What a great company!
Beautiful show room. The team member who helped me purchasing a microtech was great. He provided insight, and pulled out several models for me to handle.
