This place easily stands out because of the mural, three stories above, that celebrates the music scene here on the border between Chinatown and North Beach. This Cantonese-style restaurant features towering plates of noodles, both Chow Fun (wide and flat) and Chow Mein (spaghetti-like). Both types come with a variety of toppings to suit every taste. Find authentic dishes made with an excellent selection of seafood and some wonderfully thick and hearty soups. The service is quick for the mostly Chinese and Chinese-American c... read more

Excellent food and service! Highly recomended! Will come back again!
Been coming here for years and the food is always good. They serve the dishes as they are ready rather than cramming the table with dishes. Their specialty is seafood, cooked perfectly and with wonderful sauces. Prices are more than reasonable.
It was my worst nightmare to come to this restaurant, the service crew are the most unfriendly people I had ever encountered, the food came one after the other as if they waited for us to finish one dish first and to the point that we need to ask for the other dish that we ordered, after about ten minutes wait one more dish came... at this point we got so pissed off and decided to just cancel the rest of our order. Right after our receipt came another waiter came with a a plate of fried rice asking if we want it to be served... read more
New HK This place is great for late night eats after the bar. THey have a good selection of fried noodles, fried rice, soup noodles, and congee.
noodles I don't come here during the day because let's face it, there are better chinese restaurants everywhere... but what if it's 1:30am in the morning.... this is the place to be. It's quite a scene here late at night with all the intoxicated people eating here.
Go to Place after drinks. If you want grubby food after a jaunt down broadway on a typical Friday, Saturday night/morn, this is your go to place for jook, fried rice and beef chow fun. Authentic or not, this place is always open and the service is quick.
Worst "Chinese" Food in Bay Area – If you'd like a plate of grease, this is the place to be! The food was flavorless and inedible. The service was not only slow, but the waiters were extremely rude. My group had found a facial hair in their order, and sent it back. The cooks refused to cook anything else for my friend so she ended up not eating anything. They spent the next 30-45 min. looking for that hair, while glaring at us. When they finally did find the hair, the manager apologized, but he also made it seem as if it was... read more
TERRIBLE!! Do not go here if you are looking for authentic Chinese food!! The service is so-so and the dishes are pathetic. Go to the Hong Kong Restaurant only if you want to pay for overpriced food that no one in Hong Kong would eat. There are plenty of better restaurants just next-door in Chinatown.
