About this business

This restaurant at the confluence of the Providence and Moshassuck Rivers is considered one of Providence's best New American eateries. Some of the items off the menu at New Rivers American Bistro include raw oysters and seafood, charcuterie, small plates, pasta as well as entrees like ratatouille, hangar steak, pork ribs or striped bass. It's located near on the river's edge, a very short walk from downtown hotels and only a few blocks to College Hill.

delicious We had an absolutely delicious meal at this restaurant. I especially appreciate knowing that this restaurant does its best to source their food locally, seasonally, and organically. It is an expensive restaurant, but very tasty.

Not a fan – From the other reviews I expected a better than good experience. It was okay. Service a bit uppity, not very attentive.

Parking for the restaurant is only really available at the pay lot behind the building ($6) as street parking in this part of town is non existent. Also, you have to look really hard to see this tiny little place or you'... read more
