My last straw was a former board member and counselor talking about another member being sexually abused as a child within the congregation, names and all... this place is sick and nowhere near safe.
This place has had horrid reputation amongst locals for over a decade for legitimate reasons. If you are looking for a loving, respectful, compassionate, caring, honest congregation ... this isn't it.
Not a safe space. Serious issues behind the scenes with gossip, slander and libel with zero accountability. This church has all but disappeared b/c of the abuse and toxic gossip between members. This trend has continued for the past decade with no change.
Lovely, welcoming people. They make you feel like a member of the congregation from day 1.
