I am new to the area and was looking for a vet close by and found New River Vet. I am a Yorkie breeder and need a caring and compassionate vet for my babies, I have 3 females and 2 male yorkies that desperately need to be groomed and the pup needed to complete his vaccine's, I was very pleased on there grooming skills my babies look great and feel better. they care about our fur babies. they care about the owners concerns as well.
They are so warm and inviting. They listen to the client and were terrific with my puppy. My puppy is really a chicken in his dog costume ,lol.
On 05/16/2019 my little Jack Russell (Patches) started having a seizure. We rushed her as fast as we could to New river Animal Hospital. They were not open so we pounded on the door and they rushed her in. Her seizure lasted over 4 hours nonstop. We had to make the decision to have her put to sleep. We have searched our house and any area that Patches had access to but never found anything that could of caused this. The staff was the best I have ever seen. I have coon hounds that can wag their tails and destroy the place and they want to tree the cats. Everyone there treat me like I'm their only client and they treat my dogs like old friends. I wont go anywhere else.
