Ive made an appointment today with Angel and Don. Came early to pick a color then they wanted to do my nails first, then when I was about to get my pedicure with the person I booked with, the manager said something to the employee, next thing i was waiting for another 30-45 minutes to someone who was new and did not do a good job at all. when I was supposed to be done around 6:00pm. Very disappointing experience. I requested a basic pedicure and was repeatedly pressured to upgrade to more expensive services, even after saying no. The technician seemed annoyed that I didn't want the add-ons. She ended up putting gel on anyway just so she could upcharge me. The quality of the pedicure was poor as a result. I've also felt uncomfortable during previous visits when employees appeared to be talking about me and laughing. Whether intentional or not, it created an unwelcoming atmosphere. Called ahead to say I needed my old acrylics removed (they were lifting), a new set and a design on 2 fingers and I was told to come right in. Somehow they put me with a tech that didn’t do designs, so another tech took over and wrapped some of my nails. That tech told me to wait 10 minutes then proceeded to do someone else’s pedicure for nearly 40 minutes before I spoke up. I had a Queen Spa pedicure with Diane and my very first dip manicure with Angel here a couple of weeks ago, and I love the work they did! They both did a beautiful job. The dip is still in great shape, lasting a long time as they said it would—much better than the gel manicures I’ve gotten (elsewhere) in the past. I also love that they offer online booking. I’m not one to get my nails done regularly—very seldom, in fact, usually just before a trip or other event as I did this time—but after this experience, I might now!
