I'd give 0 stars if possible! Worst customer service, website is terrible. We set up autopayment for our first mortgage payment and luckily (come to find out) paid it 3 weeks before the due date. We just happend to look at our accounton newrez, shows it was paid, but 0 to prinipal or interest? We were confused. Looked at the bank account, it was never paid! Terrible experience with this company who has mishandled our payments, mislead us and been extremely rude to us. We have been trying to get our account situated for nearly 2 months and are waiting on them to do their part. They don't follow through and don't respond.
This is THE WORST COMPANY!!!!! They are impossible to reach and any time. Their automated phone system is so complicated and then I got hung up on THREE TIMES. I am going to change mortgage companies ASAP.
Most incompetent mortgage company that I’ve ever had. They put a late payment on my credit three months after purchasing my loan and their customer service admitted that it was their mistake and never attempted to pull the money from my account. I’ve sent the proof and they continue to ask me to send the same documents.
Newrez took over our HELOC without our choice, and unfortunately, the experience has been extremely disappointing. Over the past 37 days, I have been attempting to access funds from our HELOC. Despite making 22 calls and spending nearly 9 hours on the phone, I am still at square one. While it took Newrez only 30 seconds to take money from me via an ACH payment, the process of accessing funds has been frustratingly arduous.
