Founded in 1930, New Orleans Speech and Hearing Center continues to be the forerunner of speech and hearing centers in the metropolitan area. Last year alone, we served 10,500 clients. Since 2005, our staff has tripled in size, now standing at 23 strong, and we have purchased all new state-of-the-art testing equipment. Melody Walsh has given my mother a purpose in life again. After purchasing hearing aids, that were of no benefit from another provider, we came in contact with Melody through a visit to Lighthouse for the Blind. Once Melody tested and determined mother’s specific needs, she exhibited unwavering patience and knowledge as she guided us through a lengthy trial period. Mother is now hearing! I just posted how great Melody Walsh was at NOSHC and how fortunate I am to have her in my life. SHE IS AMAZING!!!!! More patience and caring than you can imagine and so knowledgeable in all aspects of my needs-both mental and hearing.
