I was having some issues with my laptop and couldn't figure out what was wrong. I brought it in to New Orleans Laptops, which is family owned, to get checked out since it was near my home and the pricing was reasonable. By the 2nd day of dropping off I got the phone call that my laptop was ready for pick up! Wow! Was not expecting it to be so quick. OMG, I read Shoppingnola entry and sounded like my almost exact experience. I feel so validated after reading that review, cause I couldn't imagine treating people in that manner. Maybe they pick and choose who they treat that way, or maybe its their reaction to when they screw up. I too wrote everything down as i had a custom ordered laptop , so needed special instructions on where to find drivers and the software that specially needed to be on it, ( which wasn't when I picked it up). Oh so professional... – If you want to wait a month, pay a ton of money and have your pc ruined then go here. Make no mistake. These people are not professionals, they are strait up hustlers.
Quick and professional service – Went in on a monday afternoon when I had gotten a virus and needed it back ASAP due to my companys quickbooks file being on that pc. Tuesday evening I was called and it was ready to be picked up. They even waited after closing time for me to pickup my PC that day. Will gladly use them again. I don't understand the other persons bad review and I didn't have any problems at all. Im guessing it was just one of those never satisfied customers that I always see in my personal business.
This mom and kids organization in Kenner has no idea what they are doing. They did not listen to my instructions when I tried over and over to explain to them what I needed, and then lost all the files on my computer without backing them up (which I paid extra for). When I tried to discuss it with a technician (the kids) the mom hung up on me over and over and would not let me speak with them. It was my worst nightmare. Business response:
Your computer was working fine when you received it. Which we show to everyone when they pickup so there is no question about it working. You disputed the charges with american express two times. Both times they agreed that everything was done right on our end. They received a copy of your files on CD. The same as the files you received on your laptop and on a CD. We cannot save files not saved on your computer.
