The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Center is a melting pot of culture. This community-driven establishment, located in a historic building in Tremé, is home to a 200-seat performance venue as well as seven classrooms. It hosts an array of live concerts, dance and performing arts by local and touring artists and musicians. Their aim is to educate and inspire music talent, and to carry forward the legacy of southeast Louisiana.

Great Music and Great Food, got lucky with the weather and had a great time
Love, love, love JAZZFEST!!! Great food, great music, ALWAYS a great time!!! Never disappointed, except for impending rain!!!
Love the fest! PROS: Fantastic showcasing of artists, delicious variety of local cuisine, friendly staff & attendees. CON: Crowd control rules are fully enforced UNTIL main acts are performing...then it's a free for all! For instance, we situated ourselves next to the emergency exit lane by the Acura stage to which, we were told, was supposed to not be blocked.
