They do not answer the phone, they do not respond to the consultation counter unless the customer is Asian, and they lied to me about California law once they saw I was Black and would not fill my prescription. This is my neighborhood, small business pharmacy and I cannot go there….
This pharmacy is very busy but they do their best to be efficient and move things along. Pharmacist was helpful and accommodating.
Nice pharmacist, would go extra miles for customers.
This review is for Cici Cheung, pharmacist. I came to New Oakland Pharmacy to get a COVID vaccine, and I brought my voucher from the Bridge Access Program (free COVID vaccines for uninsured patients). It's a new program, and I was the first person to go to that pharmacy with a voucher. There were some unanticipated bureaucratic challenges to work through.
