The Face to Face PHP program is the best. All of the clinicians were affirming of my trans identity and sensitive to my needs. The lunch that is provided is really good and helpful when working on mental health. If I need to do PHP again, I won’t hesitate to go back to New Oakland Okemos.
I feel like I have a confidence boost. I was not in trouble, but always felt inside I was. I don't feel like I'm in trouble anymore. Thanks to the staff, and specifically Angel, who spent a lot of time with me.
Intake was mediocre but I am very happy with my psychiatrist.
Friendly staff. Doctors and counselors that listen and care about what's going on with you. My new therapist is the best I can talk to her about anything she is kind and caring. On top of that my psych doctor doesn't push new treatments. He cares about your needs and wants to know what you think. Out of everywhere I have been this place is hands down the best.
