Genuinely can’t believe the negative reviews over dogs and staff not being behind the desk? Obviously their showing new members around the gym or attending to the spa area out the back? I’ve trained at gyms all over Australia and around the world, I’ve been at New Movement for 3 years now and its by far one of the best gyms I’ve trained at. Just signed up. The gym has a great range of equipment and is kept really clean. Carla at the front desk was super welcoming, answered all our questions, and made signing up a breeze.
awesome gym, great to zone out and be ones self while working out! wish list is a dumbbell safety rack, my shoulders ain't as stable as they used to be
I really like this gym — it’s spacious, well-equipped, and generally very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the location is convenient. However, the sound levels are extremely high. Both the music and the class speakers are so loud that even with noise-cancelling headphones, the environment feels chaotic and overwhelming. It would be great if the gym could lower the overall volume a bit to create a more comfortable atmosphere for everyone.
Been coming here about 3 years now. And it has great facilities, however the standards regarding the tidiness of the gym floor has fallen. This with regards to weights not being reracked, not organised properly and accessories scattered over the floor. Additionally, the men’s toilet is not regularly maintained. Regularly there is no hand towels, the cubicle and showers are not the cleanest or hygienic where it looks like stains and nose pickings are wiped on the side tiled walls.
