My experience at New Mind was EXCELLENT in every way. The staff were compassionate and exceptionally skilled. Several process groups are scheduled each day where we shared our stories and where we were that day. We spoke life, encouragement and supportive advice and connection. I am changed for the better. (FYI: I was in the program for 100 days)
New Mind Wellness Center offers a plethora of methods and techniques to combat mental health difficulties that go well beyond the “baseline” care. In addition, one learns not only the tools of the trade of mental health but also delves deep into pressing topics of the day. Their integrated model of structure and flexibility allow self autonomy to allow oneself to look deeply at oneself and maybe even say, “I love you, for you” . New Mind is a fantastic place and I can't recommend them enough!! I did the PHP program as well as the IOP program and because of them I feel more like myself and how I did before my mental health crisis. They gave me skills and coping strategies to be able to tackle life and now that I'm done I'm going back to college and working and I'm able to live life again to the fullest!!
