BERKEY IS THE WORST COMPANY EVER! I just received my big Berkey two days ago. When I “tried” to prime one filter nothing happened other than water spraying out all over my counters. Thankfully, I have an endoscope and what did I find? Inside at the bottom of the stem is solid plastic, no hole at all for the water to penetrate into the filter. Extremely disappointed — Berkey lost my trust I used Berkey showerhead filters for years, but when I asked how to check if mine was still working, they told me to buy a priming tool that turned out to be completely irrelevant for my shower filter. Money wasted. I then learned they had discontinued my showerhead filter without informing customers. This company deserves a class action lawsuit. We bought our expensive Berkey water filter systems from them trusting this company. Now we are left scrambling around searching for replacement filters. Placing our names on multiple lists so we can use our BERKEY FILTERS. After facing a lawsuit this company deserted their customers supposedly " to do research " leaving those of us with BERKEY systems to fend for ourselves. Corporate greed strikes again. My water is fine. I use it as trash containers and it is solid stainless steel. Two thumbs up!
Best water filter we've ever owned. Not a close second from what I've seen and tried. Absolutely recommend any of the Berkey products.
