Dr. Sussman delivered my youngest, and I had a great experience. I recently returned to his practice and was seen by the PA, Amanda. I have to say she was truly amazing. Got me in the same day more than once, listens to what I say, and really seems to care about her patients. I, like most women, do not love visiting the GYN, but I have to say she made me feel at ease and it was much easier than I thought. I will continue with this practice moving forward
I am not one to write reviews but Dr. Sussman should simply not be practicing. I went to him in severe pain / with all the symptoms of a ruptured ovarian cyst (noting I did not know these were classic symptoms until after the fact). He proceeded to tell me my symptoms were NOT gynecological, but gastro. He did not perform an ultrasound (specifically saying I didn't need one). Dr. Sussman was pompous and seemingly annoyed when I was not understanding the questions he was asking me during our appointment. He was belittling and painted me to be quite unintelligent. Rather than wording his question a different way, or explaining his inquiries, he resorted to a pretentious attitude. However, the rest of the staff here is very friendly and helpful.
Dr. Sussman delivered both of my children at Sharon Hospital, which truly was an incredible place to give birth. I firmly believe that his expert decisions during the delivery of my first son played a crucial role in ensuring a healthy and successful birth. Marci at the front desk is always so accommodating, friendly, and kind, while Julie, the nurse, is not only professional but also a joy to talk to—she’s incredibly personable.
