The worst medical experience I’ve ever had in my life. The staff is down right rude and nasty to patients. I was left in a room for over 3 hours with no answers to my ailments. The ER was not busy by any means. If I could give zero stars I would. When I needed to use the restroom I was expected to remove all monitors on my own and IV. If this wasn’t enough I was hit with a massive medical bill for this horrible experience. I would suggest anyone to seek medical attention at any other hospital than this one.
I arrived to the ER recently in intense abdominal pain around midnight, on a weekend. I was taken in quickly, blood was drawn, a doctor saw me as soon as was practical [there were other patients who needed more care]. I needed an appendectomy. If I could give zero stars, I would. Went in feeling horribly ill — fever, vomiting, shaking, numbness in fingers. As I was vomiting/hysterically crying I was told to put my mask on. I was left in a room for 3 hours without even a Tylenol. When my husband asked for a cup of water a nurse nastily asked “why?!” Left after 3 hours without answers. If you want to feel like a secondhand citizen or maybe even an animal, go here. And no, the ER was not busy. There were maybe 3 other people there. I watched nurses scroll their phone... read more
What an amazing place!!! My son was very sick with bronchitis. The medications he was prescribed previously at an urgent care was doing nothing to help stop his cough. We were called in right away and everyone from the from office, nurses, radiology, and the doctor were extremely professional, efficient, knowledgeable and kind. This place is one of the best ER’s I have visited!!!
I wish I can give more stars, will only ever go to NM ER when needed. I live 2 minutes away from Danbury ER but would rather drive the 30 minutes to New Milford if possible. Every doctor, nurse and staff member has always been respectful and professional with still being able to treat you like a person.
