New Mandarin Garden is okay!! The food at Mandarin is decent. Prices aren't that bad either. I went there for the first time 2 weeks ago. I ordered fried rice, sweet & sour pork, egg roll, & beef/broccolli. It tasted okay!!
New Mandarin Garden I tried the New Mandarin Garden on a whim one day. The food was nothing special but it tasted okay. The service was okay but also nothing memorable either. I would say this place is just pretty average.
Good Chinese Food My parents and I love going out to new places for food. New Mandarin Garden is a nice little spot for some quality Chinese food. They have some good tradition dishes (soup, chicken, fish).

waiter, there's a rubber in my soup – I work at kaiser permanente up the street from this restaurant. so i ordered a large soup here, and it came in two containers. i gave one of the containers to a doctor i work with, which he thought was a nice gesture. ten minutes later, the doctor comes up to me, asking where i got the soup. before i can even finish, he cuts me off and says, "never eat there again" he shows me a piece of latex rubber, either from a glove or con dom, and says that it was in his soup. imagine my embarrassm... read more
It's the food, dummy – Pretty lacking in ambiance, but more than makes up for it with quality and variety of dishes. And service is reasonably friendly.
