Needing to find a PCP was a difficult task until we learned about Dr. Khatibi’s office and mission. Velma answered all my questions I had about the signing up process, and was able to be seen within a week of enrolling! Velma is so quick and communicative, and makes scheduling every appointment a breeze. Being able to get labs done, hearing back from the office quickly when they come back, and being able to quickly converse directly with your PCP is such a gift not found at a regular doctors office! The entire idea behind direct primary care is something I will continue to value amidst what the "standard" healthcare is in America. Ms. Velma, along with Dr. Khabiti, are one of the nicest medical professionals I have come across as a student pharmacist. Dr. Khatibi and Velma have always taken care of me when I need something or have concerns about my health, they were one of the first places I contacted when I was in need of cheap health care while I didn’t have insurance. I have a mental block about getting to a doctor when something is wrong so preventative visits were definitely not on my to do list. This has all changed with Dr. Khatibi.
