Had gastruc sleeve 6 months ago. Operation went well; hospital care good. You will not see dr after 3rd day of surgery. After that it is nurses, dieticians, exercise specialists. After 3rd month, you are on your own. They charged me out of pocket almost $18k for the surgery and that is to cover everything else. My ins would not cover procedure.
