Honestly, I went in pretty skeptical since I'd done therapy before and it didn't stick. The online-only places were terrible. Ellia approach felt different right from session one, more direct without being harsh about it. I was dealing with burnout from running my own business and constantly feeling guilty for resting. She helped me untangle why rest felt so threatening to me in the first place. Still a work in progress, but I actually take weekends off now. That alone feels like a small miracle.

I started therapy after my divorce left me feeling completely lost. Dr. Cohen was patient with me even when I couldn't find the right words to explain what I was feeling. I soon noticed that I was sleeping better and no longer dreading mornings. Working with Dr. Cohen has genuinely changed how I see my life and handle stress and anxiety. Ellia isan excellent marriage counselor. She made us both feel comfortable from the start. We went to NJ Therapy and Life Coaching, looking to improve our communication and understanding of each other's feelings. We havea great marriage but through talk therapy and the tools provided we are nowable to discuss and resolve issues in a calm and balanced manner, making our relationship stronger & better. Prior law enforcement officer turning my life around one step at a time with Dr cohen. I’ve been seeing him for years and he is for sure worth every penny. Highly recommend for anyone seeking anything from a change of direction in life, to advice on everyday stressors.
