I am VERY surprised by these reviews. I cannot begin to thank the many ladies that helped me navigate a very tedious and very long distance road mark out. They all treated me so kindly and had the patience to get me through it all. New Jersey 811’s customer service is honestly one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever dealt with. The level of incompetence is unbelievable — they act like helping you is a burden. Every time I’ve called, I’ve been met with attitude instead of assistance. If I wasn’t representing a professional company, they would’ve seen a completely different side of me. But because I am required to stay professional, I kept it respectful — even though their staff clearly needs a serious reality check.
New Jersey state for One Calls is the most difficult, not user friendly, inefficient site with the worst customer service in the northeast region. Website is impossible. Talking to a representative is useless. They are rude, not helpful, and pointless. I would highly recommend for this company to see how PA, MD, VA, NY, MA handles this process and strive to do better.
