I am VERY surprised by these reviews. I cannot begin to thank the many ladies that helped me navigate a very tedious and very long distance road mark out. They all treated me so kindly and had the patience to get me through it all. Kay, Monique and Shawna(I hope I spelt their names correctly) among others are absolutely the loveliest ladies I have ever conducted any kind of business with. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!! You help is beyond appreciated!!!
New Jersey 811’s customer service is honestly one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever dealt with. The level of incompetence is unbelievable — they act like helping you is a burden. Every time I’ve called, I’ve been met with attitude instead of assistance. If I wasn’t representing a professional company, they would’ve seen a completely different side of me. But because I am required to stay professional, I kept it respectful — even though their staff clearly needs a serious reality check.
New Jersey state for One Calls is the most difficult, not user friendly, inefficient site with the worst customer service in the northeast region. Website is impossible. Talking to a representative is useless. They are rude, not helpful, and pointless. I would highly recommend for this company to see how PA, MD, VA, NY, MA handles this process and strive to do better.
Their online process for placing a mark-out is very confusing and requires way too much unnecessary information for something so simple.
I have to do utility markouts frequently for my job. The NJ Dig website is not user friendly at all, but luckily, the customer service agents are typically friendly, fast and helpful. I appreciate their help and professionalism!
