Nice place with good people. Easy to get to. Plenty of parking. Quick, painless and rewarding.
I've been coming here on/off since High School, and more regularly since 2019. The staff is easy to work with. The check in process is simple, as is leaving after my donation. Sometimes, I feel they're exceedingly polite-I don't need to be told "Thank you for your donation" so many times, but I get why the staff is likely instructed to do so. It is part of a fairly well run organization.
Most of my blood donations throughout my life have been at various NYBC drives and offices, including this one. I like their occasional promotions such as Pint for a Pint (beer) which give myself a bit more motivation to do a good deed. What I don't like is the consistent pressure they put on me to do a double-red donation every time I donate.
