I can't say anything negative about the Southmead MBU! Heaven compared to the acute mental health ward I was initially admitted. The staff care so much about getting mother's and babies back together, and helping mums come to terms with what they are going through. I felt very well taken care of with my daughter after experiencing Postpartum Psychosis. I had 2 key workers and a nursery nurse to help with any baby related things. I was able to see mental health professionals throughout my 2 week stay, and eased back into outs... read more
