Garden & Village has been my home now for 2 years after my family lost our home. It is a small apartment but I like that it’s got yard space and a pool. Mikail has been great to me as a landlord. I’ve always been able to get help when I need and he listens to my problems when they arise. Maintenance has always been quick to my home when needed. I would recommend here out of anywhere in new Hope.
This review is for Mikail! I was working on selling my house and relocating. At first I was very hesitant to move into an apartment. I was worried about the application process but Mikail walked me through all the way to signing the lease in the same day. I moved in two weeks later with no issues. This place is a scheme for money!!!! They had me pay $400 to hold apartment WITHOUT seeing it first and then said I had 48hours to get a refund 4-5 business days but it's been two weeks now! The place is INFESTED with rodents! Mouse poop everywhere! Disgusting!
I’ve lived in one or another of these apartments for the last 6 years. I’ve seen ownership come and go for the better or worse. But it’s the custodial and maintenance workers that make living here bearable. Dana, Kazoo and Katie are 5 star employees: irreplaceable and miracle workers. They make the place a community. Even after hours, these 3 are willing to lend a helping hand and answer on-site calls, work-orders and issues with a smile. I don’t know what this place would be without them! Staff was so nice! They made my time there a lot better as I was in the leasing office building with everyone that worked there. I think one bedroom rent is way too high for the quality of the buildings. But my biggest complaint is the parking. I would not recommended moving here solely because of the parking policies. When I first moved there they made all residents pay for a garage spot. And you were not allowed to park in the main parking lot after 4ish or you would be towed with a $300 fine.
