I give five stars to New Hope Valley. We just recently moved my grandpa in. And he was scared at first being in a new "home" but, with how nice, kind, and friendly everyone is there .. Meaning staff and other residents my grandpa has grown to like it a lot. Everyone made him feel so welcomed. A few residents noticed he was eating alone his first day and they went and sat with my grandpa and my grandpa has now a few friends so far. In June I moved my mom in for "temporary" post-rehab care from a fracture, and we've decided it's a great permanent choice! We love New Hope Valley, owner Rumi Shahzad, and all of his caring and well-trained staff!! We like it so much my dad will now join my Mom to live there. It's the best choice in Saginaw, and I've visited lots of facilities.
As a previous employee, I can say that I believe in what New Hope is, and what they do. The staff and residents come together as a family, and the staff provides some of the best care I've ever seen, in ten years as a CNA working in several LTC facilities around Michigan. If you're looking for a home away from home in the great lakes bay region, (or anywhere else for that matter) I thoroughly believe you'll find no better facility.

The family of Herta Walker is very grateful for all the hard work and devotion by the employees at New Hope Valley. Herta (Mom) is doing great there and it is as if she has her "second wind." She is back in the swing of things!
