Good atmosphere....good food. 10/10
Lots of great deals at a reasonable price.
This is the best place to go if you want REAL soul food! I've found out about this place 2 months ago and have been going back since! Everything is great from the chicken to the fish, but I'm favorite item on the menu is the collard greens! They are REAL greens NOT Can!
This was my first time ordering from the New Golden Nugget. Now I had the Haddock fish and that was a "5." The black-eyed peas were more like baked beans, so not my favorite. The mac & Cheese "5", the collard greens "3.5" just needed a little more seasoning, the rice "5" and the presentation of how they pack your food to go was "5+" I will definitely patronize again. Now the atmosphere could use some renovating and staff and wondering patrons. I am glad that they are still here and so I support the business.
