This was the first time we went here, and it was horrible. Two girls were standing in the front when we walked in. Neither of them smiled or welcomed us. They took us to the back, there were two steps and they did not warn us in any way like any other restaurant would have. We were sitter next to an open window; not even a screen on it and there was a wasp and bug on the table. My daughter ordered a side salad and when she got to the bottom there was a bug. The food and staff where amazing! Highly recommend a stop here.
Stopped for lunch. Server was super-attentive and the food was very good. Sauerbraten and Rosti. Wonderful building. To make it feel even more authentic, some guests seated near us were speaking German. Made it seem like we were far away from New Glarus.
Arrived before 1:45 for Father's Day Brunch, advertised til 2:30 - nope! Might have made a difference if manager were nice about it.
