I don’t know how anyone could rate you 1 star. Three of us had the early bird on a Thursday, 3 huge prime ribs that were excellent. Service was great. Going again next week for two birthdays. Menu is get. Many choices
For many years my husband and I & my aunt, have driven by this resturant. This past Sunday we finally stopped for an early dinner. Very charming to look at. Service was good. Then, the stale crackers w/cheese spread,salad w/chunks of lettuce cores,slivered carrot pieces swallowed up in dressing.My husband had a great steak which was excellent. I drive by New England Steak and Seafood just about 4 Days aweek. Stopped in for dinner last night with friends and started out with a draft beer. Then came cheese and crackers. Am I in a dinner? Cheese came I a plastic container. Really! Had salad or should I say had blue cheese dressing with a salad. And then came my apps. The waitress was very rude. Took her about 10 minutes to take our order and the place was dead on a Firday night. We got the calamari which came out dark brown, it was definitely over cooked and hard. It tasted as though it was old which makes me think that they just reheated it. My salad was brown and had bread crums in it with no crotons. My scallops were undercooked. The clam chowder looked orange and it is suppose to be New England style. The chowder was also very salty. Good Food, Good Place Good service, good food, good drinks. Prices reasonable. Would go again. Family friendly. Location is very easy to get to, plenty of parking. Nice outdoor terrace.
Good steak! Good food. Little on the pricy side. The streaks are well worth it. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Easy to get to right off of rt 16 in mendon.
Solid Food, Reasonable Prices, Above Average Prime Rib – Sorry that Beverly7 didn't enjoy what has become one of our favorite restaurants. Recently went on a Sunday and I admit the staff could stand some fine tuning. Typical Applebee..."hiya guys (as I, a male sit with my wife and her elderly aunt), no name offerred, etc... Easter birthday nightmare – It was my birthday and Easter Sunday. We were also trying it out for a rehearsal dinner in July. It's described as an "antique setting" It was dingy! I ordered rack of lamb med. rare, with a baked potato. But, what I got was burnt, dry lamb chops on a mound of mashed potatoes. The waitress left us flat without giving everyone their veggies.
