Dr. Abivari is very thorough and does a great job. The technicians are also very good and take their time with the patient. They have healed me out a great deal with my keratoconus.
Good doctor, but terrible office. Always a long unnecessary wait. Once have first appointment at 8.am, waited more than 1h to just get my mother in.
This has to be one of the most dysfunctional, unorganized, and chaotic offices I’ve ever seen. I had some good experiences with the technicians during my visits, but the office staff and billing department are a complete joke. Each time I call and ask a question nobody seems able to provide an answer or transfer me to the correct contact, and it took me nearly 6 months to a get a billing error corrected that they made. If you care about your sanity and well-being, I highly recommend finding another place for your eye care.
Brought my Mom in for some diagnostics. Our tech, Sandra A., was phenomenal. She was extremely patient with my limited mobility mother and spent as much time as my Mom needed to feel comfortable and informed regarding treatment. Sandra’s professionalism offset the fact that Tufts didn’t have any wheelchairs available for handicapped patients. If it were not for our incredible tech, this review would have only warranted 2 stars.
Dr. Peter Zhao An emergency issue with my eye had me going to NEEC for treatment. My surgery was done, not once but twice, largely in part to the severity of the problem.. When booking a F/u I was told 10wks out because my surgeon was no longer with NEEC, but saw patients 1x per month. Not happy. I was referred to Dr. Peter Zhao.
