After my experience of living at and renting with New Colony, I would never recommend it to anyone. I lived here twice, and while the first time was difficult, there were several problems that should have caused me to not rent here again. The second time living here was an absolute nightmare, mainly because of the office staff. Management are idiots. They tried to tell me I couldn't have a microwave or hang curtains. They also tried to evict me for having a friend stay at my house for 5 days because I didn't have her fill out an application and pay the application fee and add her to my lease.
