New China Buffet

3.8

About this business

There's nothing quite so indulgent as a buffet, and there's no food that fits the mold quite so nicely as Chinese. Beef and broccoli or sweet and sour chicken? Fried rice or lo mein? Don't decide. Hit up New China. The newly remodeled restaurant has a modern feel and specializes in walnut chicken and seafood (hurrah for all-u-can eat crab legs!) Come early on weekends to beat the crown. You can order a la carte, but the buffet is way more fun.

I don't know what happened, but we came here after being out of the area for two years, and it was horrible. The food was just atrocious, meaning, it was as if it was out since lunch (we came for dinner). The hibachi was done by some random guy, not the lovely Asian man they had last time, and my husband got I'll from the seafood. The only highlight was the courteous waitress we had. I know we will never be back again.

Yesterday my experience was not tgat great. Beef was overcooked & dry, Walnut chicked was overfried and dry. It was not a great experience at all. The only good dish I enjoyed was the cabbage.

As of right now, this is my favorite Chinese buffet in the area. There are many closer to home, but this place is worth the drive. The staff always welcomes you when you come in, as well as thanks you for your business when you leave. As far as the buffet, you can’t beat it. On top of all the normal Chinese food they have a sushi bar, a hibachi grill, and fresh seafood including crab legs. For an AYCE buffet the crab legs are amazing. I’ll make the drive just for them!

Still my favorite/the best chinese buffet in the valley, but it's slipping a bit. There's never any crab legs and they never have fried dumplings out for dinner buffet.
