RecommendedGreat local newspaper, however we only receive it about 2/3 of the time!! The paper says it’s the mail, post office says not there. Frustrating. Tired of calling the post office and don’t want to read online.

I love the Weekly. Local issues about the town I love.
Not sure how long New Castle has had a published newspaper however I keep buying it every week to help keep it in circulation. It would be nice if it were more informative of the communities within the legal town limits, such as churches, schools, social groups, clubs etc., and things that interest our younger generation. Good luck.

they steer clear of controversial issues when they notify a city councilman to contact their lawyer not to have to keep townspeople abreast of whats going on under the covers in town. by refusing him access to the only local media.

Only when the councilman is mean spirited and dishonest, and lies about the paper when they won't print his slander. So, so sad.
