Has anyone else been able to reach the owners of this storage facility once you rented? I rented a unit on Saturday morning. Paid. A few hours later...(during access hours) the gate code doesn't work. Called emergency contact...no answer. Called the office number no answer. Left VMs and email....no response. Called Sunday... no answer. Left VMs and email....no response. Called Monday during business hours...no answer.
I have called and left voicemails, texted them, communicated messages through the "contact us" icon, and emailed them since April to cancel. I received an email saying that since I didn't request in time, come May I would still have to pay but to still submit my request to cancel. I have a text verifying from owners that I DID request a cancelation and an email so I should be good to go come June. I am now being charged for June... I haven't been there since APRIL! Best customer service anywhere ever.
Update (one year later) Same management, same tactics. Even a local officer in a offline conversation says don’t trust this storage unit. It’s always had a shady history and needs to be completely redone. I suggest checking public records for break in/ theft. That’s just the reported ones because the facility refuses to report break ins and loss of your property. Horrible unit. Moisture problems, break ins, refuse to notify clients of break ins, refuse to fix damaged unit after break in. It's a scam.
