As a client, I feel compelled to speak up. Hospice is one of the most vulnerable times in a person’s life, and the employee who cared for us showed true compassion, patience, and dignity when we needed it most. I was very disappointed with Southern Care. While my Mom was in the hospital a representative of Southern Care came by and talked to us about the care my mom would get on hospice and how at the end of life someone would would be there for us. All that was lies. When I called the on call nurse I was told that they didn’t come out until after death to pronounce the deceased. My Dad and the family were very upset. They also told us that once my mom passed that they would clean her up and make her presentable before the hurst ca... read more
