I've lived in the same rental for six years, and in 2024, the property management switched to NCJ Real Estate. Since then, it’s been by far the most pleasant experience I’ve had with a property manager in Richmond. They don’t charge unnecessary fees, the staff is incredibly friendly (I've spoken to Treena the most, she is great), and their responsiveness is outstanding. When my dryer broke on a weekend, I received a call from Nellville himself at 8 PM on a Friday night. I can’t say enough good things about this company.
Very unprofessional. At move in another tenant’s items were still in my bedroom, parts of the wall and floor were missing and it was generally disgusting so you could say they’re not thorough with their properties between tenants. During the two years I was there, I only had two maintenance requests satisfactorily completed, the rest were ignored. I’ve overheard racist/classist banter in their office, so don’t expect respect. The best people to rent from. I’ve dealt with my fair share of nightmare landlords living in Richmond over the years, and Neville and his team are a cut above the rest. Whenever I had a maitenance issue, it was addressed immediately and nothing was ever swept under the rug. They were always kind, courteous and helpful. NCJ Inc is the BEST rental experience I have had in Richmond. Neville himself is extremely hands-on and accommodating, and I have had nothing but helpful and friendly interactions with Treena as well. I will continue to highly recommend them to anybody renting in Richmond!!
